THE BOOK OF REVELATION AS I SEE IT!

REVELATION:  MEMORY, OBSERVATION, AND PROPHECY

MEMORY:  THE THINGS WHICH YOU HAVE SEEN!

Rev. 1:20 - The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks.  The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches:  and the seven candlesticks which you saw are the seven churches.

OBSERVATION:  THE THINGS WHICH ARE!

Rev. 2:1-7
Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write - I know thy works....
Rev. 2:8-11And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write - I know thy works....
Rev. 2:12-17 - And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write - I know thy works....
Rev. 2:18-29 - And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write - I know thy works....
Rev. 3:1-6And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write - I know thy works....
Rev. 3:7-13And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write - I know thy works....
Rev. 3:14-22And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write - I know thy works....
[Note:  Those who belong to the Body of Christ, His Church, are supposed to be doing the works of God until He comes for us!  This is the last mention of the Church, as Rev. 4:1 is a picture of the Rapture - see also:  Jn. 14:1-3; 2 Cor. 5:6-8; 1 Th. 1:10; 4:13-18; 5:9!]

PROPHECY:  THE THINGS WHICH SHALL BE HEREAFTER!

CHAPTERS 4-5 - THE THRONE ROOM OF HEAVEN!
Rev. 4:1-2After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven:  and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show you things which must be hereafter.  And immediately I was in the spirit:  and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.

CHAPTERS 6-18 - THE TRIBULATION:  DANIEL'S 70TH WEEK!
Dan. 9:24-27Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people (Israel) . . . And he (the future ruler from the Roman Empire) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (seven years): and in the midst of the week, he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations, he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

CHAPTERS 6-12 & 14-18 - TWO PERIODS OF THREE AND A HALF YEARS!
Dan. 9:27 - One half week!
Dan.7:25; 12:7; Rev. 12:14 - Time, times, and half a time!
Rev. 11:3; 12:6 - 1,260 days!
Rev. 11:2; 13:5 - 42 months!
[Note:  All equal exactly the same; Israel's year was 360 days.]

CHAPTER 13 - THE MID-POINT OF THE TRIBULATION!
Dan. 9:27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:  and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Mat. 24:14-16And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.  When you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso reads this, let him understand):  then let those who are in Judaea flee into the mountains....

CHAPTERS 14-18 - THE SECOND HALF OF THE TRIBULATION!
Rev. 13:5-6 - And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.  And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

CHAPTER 19 - THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST!
Rev. 19:11, 14, 16 - And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He does judge and make war. - - - And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. - - - And He had on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

CHAPTER 20 - CHRIST'S MILLENNIUM KINGDOM AND JUDGMENT!
Rev. 20:4-6And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them:  and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God, and who had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.  This is the first resurrection.  Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection:  on such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
[Note:  See note above under Chapters 2 & 3 - The Church reigns with Christ as well.]

CHAPTERS 21-22 - THE NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH!
Rev. 21:1 - And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:  for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Rev. 22:6And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true:  and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

JESUS IS COMING FOR HIS CHURCH SOON!
TRUST HIM AND SERVE HIM UNTIL THEN!
HE IS WORTHY!

ACTS TWO: THE PATTERN FOR FULFILLING THE GREAT COMMISSION!

THE GREAT COMMISSION!

Matthew 28:18-20And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth.  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:  and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.  Amen.

THE SCRIPTURAL ORDER OF
THE THREE PARTS TO THE GREAT COMMISSION!

I.  TEACH ALL NATIONS - SHARE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST!

Romans 1:16For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ:  for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Gentile; non-Jew).

1 Corinthians 15:1-4Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also you are saved - - - that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.

EXAMPLE:  Acts 2:22-24 - You men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by Him in the midst of you, as you yourselves also know:  Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:    Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death:  because it was not possible that He should be holden of it (held by it).

II.  BAPTIZING THEM - BAPTIZE THOSE WHO BELIEVE THE GOSPEL!

Acts 8:5, 12Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. - - - when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Romans 6:3-5Know you not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death?  Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death:  that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.  For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection.

EXAMPLE:  Acts 2:36-38 - Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God has made that same Jesus, Whom you have crucified, both Lord and Christ.  Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

III.  TEACHING THEM TO OBSERVE ALL I HAVE COMMANDED YOU!

Ephesians 4:11-13And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:  until we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

1 Timothy 4:6, 10-11If you put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine (teaching), where unto you have attained. - - - For therefore we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, Who is the Savior of all men, especially of those that believe.  These things command and teach.

Titus 2:11-15For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men (believers), teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for That Blessed Hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.  These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority.  Let no man despise you.

EXAMPLE:  Acts 2:41-42, 46-47 - Then they that gladly received his word were baptized:  and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.  And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine (teaching) and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. - - - And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the Church daily such as should be saved.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST, WHEN BELIEVED, SAVES THE LOST!
ONLY BELIEVERS IN JESUS CHRIST SHOULD BE BAPTIZED!
BAPTIZED BELIEVERS IN JESUS CHRIST SHOULD OBEY HIM!

THE NATIONS OF THE EZEKIEL 38-39 WAR!

EZEKIEL 38-39:  THE ISLAMIC ATTEMPT TO DESTROY ISRAEL!

Ezekiel 38:1-6 - And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, and say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:  and I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armor, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:  Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:  Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.

If these names (Magog, Rosh, Meshech, Tubal) seem confusing, there is perhaps an easier way to identify the source or origin of this massive army of invaders.   From what direction will these armies come?  The Bible is very clear about this:

Ezekiel 38:14-16 - Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus says the Lord GOD; In that day when My people of Israel dwells safely, shalt thou not know it?  And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:  and thou shalt come up against My people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against My land, that the heathen may know Me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

Russia today is not an Islamic nation, but it has an Islamic population that is growing very rapidly, and this is causing concerns among those in Russia who are not Islamic.  The average Islamic family in Russia is bearing more children than the average non-Islamic Russian family, and this means that the Islamic population in Russia is growing larger all the time.  It is possible that in the future Islamic Russians will be in the majority. Other nations will join this evil confederacy:

Ezekiel 38:5-6 - Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:  Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.

These nations are known by different names today; all are Islamic and hate Israel:
Persia - is the nation known as Iran.

Ethiopia - is the modern country of Sudan.
Libya - is the country of Libya.
Gomer and Togarmah - is the country of Turkey.

IT DOESN'T TAKE A GENIUS TO DEDUCE THAT TODAY'S HEADLINES
CONCERNING THE CURRENT SITUATION IN THE MIDDLE EAST,
IS BIBLE PROPHECY BEING FULFILLED BEFORE OUR EYES!
THE STAGE IS SET, AND ONLY CHRIST'S RETURN CAN SAVE ISRAEL!

ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR LORD WHILE THERE IS STILL TIME!

PETER AND PAUL: THE CHURCH IN THE BOOK OF ACTS!

SALVATION OFFERED TO JEWS AND GENTILES:
BELIEVE THE GOSPEL MESSAGE!

1 Corinthians 15:1-6Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; by which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain.  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:  and that He was seen of Cephas (Peter), then of the twelve:  after that, He was seen of above (by more than) five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep (have died).

PETER AND PAUL PREACHED THE SAME GOSPEL MESSAGE:
BEGINNING IN THE BOOK OF ACTS!

Acts 2:36-41, 47 - Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God has made that same Jesus, whom you have crucified, both Lord and Christ.  Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their hearts, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.  And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward (crooked; perverse) generation.  Then they that gladly received his word were baptized:  and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. - - - Praising God, and having favor with all the people.  And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

[Note:  Peter preached the Gospel message to Jews on the Day of Pentecost, and 3000 souls were saved; the Church Age had begun (see v. 47)!]

Acts 16:29-34 - Then he (the Philippian jailer) called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, and brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?  And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and thy house.  And they spoke unto him the Word of the Lord (the Gospel - Rom. 1:16), and to all that were in his house.  And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.  And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

[Note:  Those who heard the Gospel and believed were Gentiles, who having faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, were then baptized!]

Acts 20:17-21And from Miletus he (Paul) sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.  And when they were come to him, he said unto them, You know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons, serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:  and how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have showed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house, testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks (Gentiles), repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

[Note:  The same Gospel message was preached to both Jews and Gentiles by Peter (Acts 2:36-41; 10:34-43).  Here, Paul is said to have preached the same Gospel to both as well!]

THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUE GOSPEL THAT HAS THE POWER TO SAVE!

Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ:  for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Gentile; heathen).  For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith:  as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Galatians 1:6-9; 2:7-9 - I marvel that you are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:  which is not another (in reality, there is no such thing); but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the Gospel of Christ.  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.  As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. - - - they  (the Apostles in Jerusalem) saw that the Gospel of the uncircumcision (Gentiles; heathen) was committed unto me, as the Gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter; (For He that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the Same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles):  and when James, Cephas (Peter), and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

THE CHURCH AGE BEGAN IN ACTS CHAPTER TWO, AND CONTINUES TODAY!  THE GOSPEL MESSAGE, THE ONLY MESSAGE WITH THE POWER TO SAVE, WAS PREACHED BY BOTH PETER AND PAUL IN THE BOOK OF ACTS!

DO YOU BELIEVE?  THE CHURCH AGE IS ABOUT TO END; BELIEVE TODAY!
