UNLIKE SATAN'S PLANS, GOD'S ARE ALWAYS FULFILLED!

GOD'S PLAN FOR MANKIND: THAT WE BE LIKE THE TRINITY.

ADAM WAS CREATED A SPIRITUAL BEING.

Genesis 1:26-27 - "And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our LIKENESS:  and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.  So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them."

John 4:24 - "God is Spirit:  and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth."

Genesis 5:1 - "This is the book of the generations of Adam.  In the day that God created man, in the  LIKENESS of God made He him."

GOD'S PLAN HAS BEEN DELAYED DUE TO ADAM'S SIN.

ADAM DIED SPIRITUALLY THE MOMENT HE SINNED!

Genesis 2:16-17 - "And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou may freely eat:  but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eat thereof thou shalt surely die."

Genesis 3:6-8 - "And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.  And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.  And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day:  and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden."

BECAUSE OF SIN, MANKIND IS NOW IN THE LIKENESS OF ADAM.

MANKIND DOES NOT KNOW WHAT GOD LOOKS LIKE!

Genesis 5:3 - "And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth."

John 1:18 - "No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, Who is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him."

1 John 4:12 - "No man hath seen God at any time.  If we love one another, God dwells in us, and His love is perfected in us."

AS A RESULT OF US NOT KNOWING WHAT GOD LOOKS LIKE,

WE ARE FORBIDDEN TO MAKE ANYTHING THAT IS AN IDOL!

Exodus 20:4 - "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth."

Deuteronomy 4:23 - "Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which He made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of anything, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee."

IT IS POSSIBLE THAT MAN CAN ONCE AGAIN BE LIKE GOD!

BY FAITH IN CHRIST, WE CAN BE SPIRITUALLY BORN AGAIN!

Psalm 17:15 - "As for me, I will behold Thy face in righteousness:  I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with Thy likeness."

John 3:6-7 - "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."

Romans 6:4-5 - "Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death:  that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.  For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection."

1 John 3:2 - "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is."

SATAN TRIED TO PREVENT GOD'S PLAN AND ADAM HID FROM SIGHT!

SO JESUS SUFFERED SIX LONG HOURS THAT IT WOULD BE FULFILED!

YES, GOD KNEW HIS PLAN FOR US WOULD NOT HAPPEN OVER NIGHT!

FOR HE IS GOD AND SO ALL THINGS WORK AS HE HAS WILLED!

IN THE END, SATAN LOSES, AND WE SHALL SEE GOD'S LIGHT!
