THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO PETER AND PAUL!

THE GOSPEL AS PREACHED BY PETER!

Acts 2:14, 22-38 -  But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, You men of Judaea, and all you that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words . . . . You men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by Him in the midst of you, as you yourselves also know:  Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:  Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death:  because it was not possible that He should be holden of  (held by) it.

For David spoke concerning Him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for He is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:  therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:  because You will not leave my soul in hell, neither will You suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.  You have made known to me the ways of life; You shall make me full of joy with Your countenance.

Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us unto this day.  Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, He would raise up Christ to sit on His throne; He seeing this before spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that His soul was not left in hell, neither His flesh did see corruption.  This Jesus has God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.  Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, He has shed forth this, which you now see and hear.  For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he said himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, You sit on My right hand, until I make Your foes Your footstool.  Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God has made that same Jesus, Whom you have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?  Then Peter said unto them, Repent (have a change of mind:  go from disbelief to believing), and (then) be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

THE GOSPEL AS PROCLAIMED BY PAUL!

Romans 10:8-13 - But what does it say?  The Word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the Word of faith, which we preach; that if you shall confess with your mouth (your faith in) the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.  For with the heart man believes unto (and is granted Christ's righteousness - see 2 Corinthians 5:21) righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For the Scripture says, Whosoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek (non-Jew; Gentile): for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

1 Corinthians 15:1-6 - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; by which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain.  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:  and that He was seen of Cephas (by Peter), then of the twelve:  after that, He was seen of above (by more than) five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain (alive) unto this present, but some are fallen asleep (have died).

Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace (the undeserved love of God) are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:  not of works, lest any man should boast.

IT CANNOT BE ANY CLEARER THAN THIS:
SALVATION IS A GIFT BOUGHT WITH THE
BLOOD OF JESUS, AND OFFERED TO YOU!
