FROM PENTECOST UNTIL TODAY: THE ONE MESSAGE THAT SAVES!

THE MESSAGE DISCIPLES ARE TO SHARE!

Luke 24:44-48 - And He (Jesus) said unto them, These are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the Law of Moses, and in the Prophets, and in the Psalms, concerning Me.  Then opened He their understanding, that they might understand the Scriptures, and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:  and that repentance (Greek:  metanoia - the changing of one's mind) and remission (Greek:  aphesis - forgiveness; pardon) of sins should be preached in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.  And ye are witnesses of these things.

THE MESSAGE THAT CHANGED THE WORLD!

Acts 2:37-38Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?  Then Peter said unto them, Repent (Greek:  metanoeo - change your way of thinking), and be baptized (a testimony of your faith) every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for (because of) the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 3:19, 26Repent ye (Greek:  metanoeo - change your way of thinking) therefore, and be converted (Greek:  epistrepho - turn to God), that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord . . . . Unto you first God, having raised up His Son Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.

Acts 17:30-31 - . . . . God . . . . now commands all men every where to repent (Greek:  metanoeo - change your way of thinking):  because He has appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that man (Jesus) Whom He has ordained; whereof He has given assurance unto all men, in that He has raised Him from the dead.

Acts 20:20-21And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have showed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house, testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance (Greek:  metanoia - the changing of one's mind) toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

Acts 26:19-20Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:  but showed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent (Greek:  metanoeo - change your way of thinking) and turn to God (Greek:  epistrepho - turn to God), and do works meet for (Greek:  axias - befitting) repentance.

ONE'S MIND IS CHANGED BY THE WORD OF GOD!

Romans 10:17So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved . . . . For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures....
