IT IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST WHO SAVES!

SAVING FAITH COMES FROM BELIEVING GOD'S WORD!

Romans 10:17 - So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God!

Romans 5:8 - But God (demonstrated) His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 10:9-13 - That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and truly believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.  For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For the Scripture says, Whosoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.  For there is no difference between the Jew and the (Gentile): for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

THE GOSPEL:  THAT WHICH MUST BE BELIEVED TO BE SAVED!

Romans 1:16-17 - For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ:  for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the (Gentile).  For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith:  as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel - - - by which also you are saved - - - For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.

TRUE SALVATION ALWAYS INVOLVES REPENTANCE!
(Repentance is to have a change in one's thinking about one's relationship with God.)

Matthew 9:13 - But go and learn what that means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice:  for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Mark 2:17 - When Jesus heard it, he said unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick:  I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Luke 13:3, 5 - I tell you, Nay: but, except you repent, you shall all likewise perish.

Luke 24:47 - And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Acts 3:19 - Repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Acts 20:21 - Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the (Gentiles), repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 2:3-4 - And (do you think) this, O man, that judges them which do such things, and does the same, that you shalt escape the judgment of God?  Or (do you despise) the riches of His goodness and forbearance and long suffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

2 Corinthians 7:10 - For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation not to be repented of:  but the sorrow of the world works death.

Hebrews 6:1 - Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God.

2 Peter 3:9 - The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering (toward us), not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

ALL WHO TRULY BELIEVE WHAT CHRIST HAS DONE FOR US,
CANNOT HELP BUT TO TURN FROM SIN, AND LIVE FOR HIM!
