THE HUMILITY OF CHRIST IS SEEN IN HIM CALLING HIMSELF THE SON OF MAN!

JESUS WAS HUMBLE, CALLING HIMSELF THE SON OF MAN!

Job 25:6 - How much less man, that is a worm?  And the son of man, Who is a worm?

Psalm 8:4-5 - What is man, that You art mindful of him?  And the son of man, that You visit Him?  For You have made Him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned Him with glory and honor. 

Psalm 144:3 -  LORD, what is man, that You take knowledge of him!  Or the son of man, that You make account of Him!

Matthew 8:20 - And Jesus said unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has not where to lay His head.

Matthew 17:12 - But I say unto you, That Elijah is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they wanted.  Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

Mark 8:31 - And He began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

John 3:14-15 - And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:  that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.

JESUS WAS HUMBLE, LEAVING US AN EXAMPLE!

Zechariah 9:9 - Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem:  behold, thy King comes unto you:  He is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Matthew 21:2-7 - Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway you shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her:  loose them, and bring them unto Me.  And if any man say ought unto you, you shall say, The Lord has need of them; and straightway he will send them.  All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, your King comes unto you, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.  And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, and brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set Him thereon.

John 13:12-15 - So after He had washed their feet, and had taken His garments, and was set down again, He said unto them, Know you what I have done to you?  You call Me Master and Lord:  and you say well; for so I am.  If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; you also ought to wash one another's feet.  For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.

Philippians 2:5-8 - Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:  Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:  but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:  and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Hebrews 2:5-7 - For unto the angels has He not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.  But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that You are mindful of him?  Or the son of man, that You visit Him?  You made Him a little lower than the angels....

WANT OTHERS TO SEE JESUS IN YOU?

REMEMBER, HE HUMBLED HIMSELF, AND ALTHOUGH HE IS GOD, 

HE TOOK ON THE FORM OF MAN TO DIE FOR OUR SINS!

JESUS ALONE SHOULD BE THE BELIEVER'S ROLE MODEL!
