PASS IT ON!

GOD LOVES EVERYONE

John 3:16-17 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

Romans 5:8-9 - But God commended (demonstrated) His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

GOD DEFINED LOVE

[Note:  "Charity" here is the Greek word "agape" meaning "God-like love."]

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 - Charity suffers long, and is kind; charity envies not; charity vaunts not itself, is not puffed up, does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil; rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

WE ARE TO LOVE

Leviticus 19:18Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I AM the LORD.

Matthew 5:43-44Ye have heard that it has been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy.  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you....

Matthew 19:19 - ...Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

Matthew 22:37-40Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.  On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.

Mark 12:29-31 - And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:  and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength:  this is the first commandment.  And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.  There is none other commandment greater than these.

Romans 13:9 - For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

Galatians 5:14 - For all the Law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

James 2:8 -  If ye fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, ye do well.

LOVE IS THE EVIDENCE OF OUR FAITH!

1 John 4:19-21 - We love Him, because He first loved us.  If a man say, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar:  for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God Whom he has not seen?  And this commandment have we from Him, That he who loves God, love his brother also.
