THE POWER OF FAITH IN CHRIST!

THE IMPORTANCE OF HAVING FAITH IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!

Matthew 9:20-22 - ...a woman, who was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind Him, and touched the hem of His garment:  for she said within herself, If I may but touch His garment, I shall be whole.  But Jesus turned Him about, and when He saw her, He said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

Matthew 15:22-28 - ...a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto Him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, Thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.  But He answered her not a word.  And His disciples came and besought Him, saying, Send her away; for she cries after us.  But He answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.  Then came she and worshipped Him, saying, Lord, help me.  But He answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.  And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.  Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt.  And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Mark 10:49-52 - And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called.  And they called the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; He calls for thee.  And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.  And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee?  The blind man said unto Him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.  And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole.  And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.  [See also Luke 18:42 - And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.]

Luke 7:47-50 - Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much:  but to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.  And He said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.  And they that sat at meat with Him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgives sins also?  And He said to the woman, Thy faith has saved thee; go in peace.

Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  not of works, lest any man should boast.

Hebrews 11:5-6 - By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him:  for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.  But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him.

FROM WHERE DOES ONE ACQUIRE FAITH?

Romans 10:8-17 - But what does it say?  The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart:  that is, the Word of Faith, which we preach; that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession (of Jesus as Lord) is made unto salvation.  For the Scripture says, Whosoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Gentile:  for the same Lord over all is rich unto all who call upon Him.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  How then shall they call on Him in Whom they have not believed?  And how shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard?  And how shall they hear without a preacher?  And how shall they preach, except they be sent?  As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!  But they have not all obeyed the Gospel.  For Esaias saith, Lord, who has believed our report?  So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

THE GOSPEL, THE MESSAGE OF GOD WHICH SAVES THE LOST!

Do you believe Jesus died for your sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures (Rom. 1:16; 1 Cor. 15:3-4)

IF SO, YOU CAN KNOW THAT YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD,
AND OTHERS WILL ALSO KNOW YOU ARE,
BY OBSERVING WHAT YOU SAY AND DO (1 Jn. 32; Jam. 2:18)!
