JESUS AND YOU!

THE WORDS OF JESUS!

Luke 23:33-38 - And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the malefactors (criminals; evil-doers), one on the right hand, and the other on the left.  Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted His raiment, and cast lots.  And the people stood beholding.  And the rulers also with them derided Him, saying, He saved others; let Him save Himself, if He be Christ, the chosen of God.  And the soldiers also mocked Him, coming to Him, and offering Him vinegar, and saying, If You are the king of the Jews, save Yourself.  And a superscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

THE ACTION OF JESUS!

2 Corinthians 5:14-21 - For the love of Christ constrains us; because we thus judge, that if One died for all, then were all dead:  And that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him Who died for them, and rose again.  Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh:  yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we Him no more.  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  And all things are of God, Who has reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation; to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the Word of reconciliation.  Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be reconciled to God.  For He has made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

OUR JOB:  BELIEVE!

Romans 10:9-13 (My Version) - ...IF you will confess with your mouth your faith in the Lord Jesus, and truly believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.  For with the heart man believes and is declared righteous by God; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For the Scripture says, Whosoever believes in Him shall not be ashamed.  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek (non-Jew; Gentile):  for the same Lord is over all and is rich unto all who call upon Him.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
