THE TWO HALVES OF THE TRIBULATION!

THE FIRST HALF OF THE SEVEN-YEAR TRIBULATION!
REVELATION CHAPTERS 6-11

Revelation 11:1-3 - And there was given me (John) a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein (Jews).  But the court which is without (outside) the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles:  and the holy city (Jerusalem) shall they tread under foot forty and two months (three and a half years on the Hebrew calendar).  And I will give power unto My two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days (three and a half years on the Hebrew calendar), clothed in sackcloth.

[Note:  The Beast of Revelation 13 (the prince of the people who destroyed the temple; the man of sin; the son of perdition; the Antichrist - Dan. 9:26;  2 Th. 2:3-4; 1 Jn. 2:18; Rev. 13:1-10) lives up to his agreement with the Jews, and they, believing he is their Messiah, live in relative peace.  He even tolerates the two witnesses!]

THE MIDDLE OF THE SEVEN-YEAR TRIBULATION!
REVELATION CHAPTERS 11-13

Revelation 11:7-12 - And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit (Antichrist) shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.  And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city (Jerusalem), which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.  And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.  And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.  And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.  And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither.

[Note:  After their three and a half year ministry, they are killed by the Antichrist, and all who had been tormented by their message that Jesus was, and is, the Christ of God, including the Jews, are able to view their dead bodies (satellite television - sorry, no EMP's folks).]

Revelation 13:1-7 - And I (John) stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.  And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion:  and the dragon (Satan) gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.  And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed:  and all the world wondered after the beast.  And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast:  and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast?  Who is able to make war with him?  And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months (three and a half years on the Hebrew calendar).  And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.  And it was given unto him to make war with the saints (Jews), and to overcome them:  and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

[Note:  The dragon is Satan (Rev. 12:9; 20:2).  Following the mortal wound of the Beast, Satan indwells and empowers the Antichrist (Rev. 13:3-5).  His blasphemy and declaration that he is to be worshipped as God, opens the eyes of the Jewish remnant and they flee to safety (Rom. 11:25; Rev. 12:14).  The Church is not mentioned in Revelation Ch. 6-18; it had been removed via the Rapture as symbolize in John's call up to heaven - Rev. 4:1 (see also Jn. 14:1-3; 1 Cor. 15:50-54; 1 Th. 4:13-18)!]

THE SECOND HALF OF THE SEVEN-YEAR TRIBULATION!
REVELATION CHAPTERS 14-18

Matthew 24:15-21 - When you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (the temple), (whosoever reads this, let him understand):  then let them which be in Judaea (Jews) flee into the mountains:  let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:  neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.  And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!  But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day (Jews):  for then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

[Note:  Because the Tribulation is also known as "Daniel's Seventieth Week" (Dan. 9:24-27), and the "Time of Jacob's Trouble," and because the Church will already be with Jesus in heaven, the Tribulation is God's grace toward Israel, and God's judgment upon the Gentiles who reject Jesus' offer of salvation through faith in Him.]

THE SEVEN-YEAR TRIBULATION ENDS WITH CHRIST'S RETURN!
REVELATION CHAPTER 19

Revelation 19:11-16 - And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He (Jesus) that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He does judge and make war.  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself.  And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God.  And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.  And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations:  and He shall rule them with a rod of iron:  and He treads the winepress (a symbol of the crushing judgment of God) of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.  And He has on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
