FUTURE EVENTS ACCORDING TO THE BOOK OF REVELATION!

THE THINGS YOU SAW!

Revelation 1:10-20 - I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day (the first day of the week - Mt. 28:1; Acts 20:7; 1 Cor. 16:2), and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, saying, I AM Alpha and Omega, the first and the last:  and, What you see, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.  And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me.  And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; and in the midst of the seven candlesticks One like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.  His head and His hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and His eyes were as a flame of fire; and His feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and His voice as the sound of many waters.  And He had in His right hand seven stars:  and out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword:  and His countenance was as the sun shines in its strength.  And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead.  And He laid His right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I AM the First and the Last:  I AM He Who lives, and was dead; and, behold, I AM alive forever more, Amen; and I have the keys of hell and of death.  Write the things which You have seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks:

THE THINGS WHICH ARE!

Revelation 1:20 - the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches:  and the seven candlesticks which you saw are the seven churches.

[Note:  Rev. 2:1 - 3:22 - Describe the Church Age, that which existed during John's lifetime.]

THE THINGS WHICH SHALL BE HEREAFTER!

Revelation 4:1 - After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven:  and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

[Note:  It is noteworthy that John hears "a trumpet," that said "Come up hither."  This verse has been interpreted to be a picture of the Rapture of believers.  While the rest of the Book of Revelation describes future events such as the Tribulation, the Second Coming, the Judgment of the Nations, the Millennial Kingdom, the Great White Throne Judgment, and the beginning of eternity with the New Heaven, New Earth, and the New Jerusalem, I will focus upon the Scriptural evidence for the Pre-Tribulation Rapture!]

THE ONE THING REMAINING FOR BELIEVERS,
IS THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH!

John 14:1-3 - Let not your heart be troubled:  you believe in God, believe also in Me.  In My Father's house are many mansions:  if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I AM, there you may be also.

1 Corinthians 15:50-54Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.  Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:  for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

1 Thessalonians 1:9-10 - . . . you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; and to wait for His Son from heaven, Whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, Who delivered us from the wrath to come.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have died, that yo sorrow not, even as others who have no hope.  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so those also who died believing in Jesus will God bring with Him.  For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede those who have died.  For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:  and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1 Thessalonians 5:9-11For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we live or have died, we should live together with Him.  Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and continue to edify one another, even more than you already do.

2 Peter 3:3-10Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.  For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the Word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:  whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:  but the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same Word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.  The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  But the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Revelation 3:10Because you have kept the word of My patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

GOD COMFORTS THOSE WHO TRUST IN JESUS,
AND HE WARNS THOSE WHO DO NOT!
CONSIDER THIS:  TIME IS RUNNING OUT!
TRUST IN JESUS AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR TODAY!
