SAVING FAITH IS BELIEVING IN THE RESURRECTED SON OF GOD!

THE WORD "FAITH" ONLY APPEARS TWO TIMES IN THE
OLD TESTAMENT OF THE KING JAMES VERSION OF THE BIBLE!

Deuteronomy 32:20 - And He said, I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end shall be:  for they are a very froward (deceitful; perverse) generation, children in whom is no faith.

Habakkuk 2:4 - Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:  but the just shall live by his faith.

THE WORD "FAITH" APPEARS 228 TIMES IN THE NEW TESTAMENT:
IT APPEARS IN ALL BUT THREE BOOKS:  JOHN, 2 JOHN, AND 3 JOHN!

HERE ARE A FEW IMPORTANT EXAMPLES:

Acts 20:21 - (The Apostle Paul was) testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Gentiles, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 1:17For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith:  as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Romans 10:17So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

Galatians 3:11But that no man is justified by the Law in the sight of God, it is evident:  for, The just shall live by faith.

Ephesians 2:8-9For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:  not of works, lest any man should boast.

Hebrews 10:38 - Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Hebrews 11:1, 6 - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. - - - But without faith it is impossible to please Him:  for He who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

THE WORD "BELIEVE" APPEARS 269 TIMES IN THE NEW TESTAMENT;
EIGHTY SIX OF THEM APPEAR IN THE GOSPEL OF JOHN!

HERE ARE A FEW IMPORTANT EXAMPLES:

John 3:14-17 - And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:  that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.  For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 20:28-29 - And Thomas answered and said unto Him, My Lord and my God.  Jesus said unto him, Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed:  blessed are those who have not seen, and yet have believed.

Acts 8:36-37 - And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water:  and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what does hinder me from being  baptized?  And Philip said, If you believe with all your heart, you may.  And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Romans 10:9-10 - That if you shall confess with your mouth (faith in) the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.  For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

1 Timothy 3:16 - And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:  God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, and received up into glory.

Hebrews 10:39 - But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

1 John 5:13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may (continue in confidence to) believe on the name of the Son of God.

FOR ISRAEL, SEEING IS BELIEVING:
FOR THE CHURCH, BELIEVING IS SEEING!
