EVENTS IN BOOK OF REVELATION!
Note: The events which occur on earth are presented chronologically;
the events described as occurring in heaven are not governed by time!
Revelation 1:19 - Write the things which you have seen (past tense), and the things which are (present tense), and the things which shall be hereafter (future tense)....
THE THINGS WHICH YOU HAVE SEEN!
Revelation 1:12-20 - And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks . . . . The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which you saw are the seven churches.
THE THINGS WHICH ARE!
Revelation 1:11 - Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What you see, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
Note: Revelation 2:1 - 4:1 - The Church Age. Verse 4:1 is a picture of the end of the Church Age, which occurs with the Rapture of the Church (John 14:1-3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; etc.).
THE THINGS WHICH SHALL BE HEREAFTER!
Revelation 4:1 - After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show you things which must be hereafter.
THE FIRST HALF OF THE SEVEN-YEAR COVENANT!
Revelation 6:1 - 11:19 - 1260 days (Revelation 11:3; 12:6); 42 months (Revelation 11:2; 13:5); 3 1/2 years stated as "a time, times, and a half time" (Daniel 7:25; 12:7; Revelation 12:14).
THE MID-POINT OF THE SEVEN YEAR COVENANT!
Revelation 13:1-18 - The breaking of the covenant (Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:15; Mark 13:14; Luke 21:20).
THE SECOND HALF OF THE SEVEN-YEAR COVENANT!
Revelation 14:1 - 18:24 - The Great Tribulation (Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:16-28; etc.).
THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST!
Revelation 19:11-16 - And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He does judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself. And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of His mouth went a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He tread the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He had on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
CHRIST'S 1000 YEAR MILLENNIAL KINGDOM!
Revelation 20:1-7 - The length of 1000 years is stated six times in seven verses!
CHRIST'S ENEMIES DEFEATED AND JUDGED!
Revelation 20:7-15 - The Great White Throne Judgment and the Lake of Fire.
THE NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH: ETERNITY WITH GOD!
Revelation 21:1 - 22:15 - The new heaven and new earth described.
Revelation 22:16-20 - The Lord calls for all to come to Him in faith!
