"He that receives you (His disciples) receives Me (Jesus), and he (whomsoever - Rom. 10:13) that receives Me (Jesus) receives Him that sent Me (the Father - Jn. 3:16). He that receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receives a Righteous Man (Jesus is the only Righteous Man who ever lived) in the name of a Righteous Man shall receive a Righteous Man's reward" (Mt. 10:40-41).
"He (Jesus) was in the world, and the world was made by Him (Jesus - Jn. 1:1-3), and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own (the Jews), and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God" (Jn. 1:10-13).
"But now the righteousness of God without (apart from) the Law is manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets; even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation ("paid in full") through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission (payment) of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; to declare, I say, at this time His righteousness: that He might be just, and the justifier of him which believes in Jesus" (Rom. 3:21-26).
"And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation (the job of proclaiming the Gospel which, when believed, has the power to save - Rom. 1:16; 1 Cor. 15:1-4); to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For He hath (the Father) made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him" (2 Cor. 5:18-21).
