CALLING GOD A LIAR!

THE SIN THAT RESULTS IN THE NEED OF A SAVIOR!
TO DOUBT GOD IS TO CALL GOD A LIAR!

GOD SAID:
Genesis 2:16-17 - And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:  but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it:  for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

SATAN SAID:
Genesis 3:4-5 - And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:  for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

ADAM DID NOT BELIEVE GOD:
Genesis 3:6 - . . . and he did eat.  [Note:  Genesis 5:5 - Adam died spiritually that instant; he died physically at the age of 930 years old; "the same day" in God's timing!]

THE RECONCILING OF THE TWO STATEMENTS:
Psalm 90:4 - For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
2 Peter 3:8 - But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

ATTRIBUTING GOD'S WORK TO SATAN!

Matthew 12:22-32Then was brought unto Him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and He healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.  And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?  But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.  And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:  and if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?  And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out?  Therefore they shall be your judges.  But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.  Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man?  And then he will spoil his house.  He that is not with Me is against Me; and he that gathereth not with Me scattereth abroad.  Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men:  but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.  And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him:  but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

[Note:  By attributing the work of the Holy Spirit, Who is God (Acts 5:3-4), to that of Satan, was blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, and was also calling Jesus, Who is God (John 1:1, 14), a liar!]

SALVATION REQUIRES MAN TO BELIEVE GOD!

Acts 8:35-37Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.  And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?  And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Romans 10:8-13 - But what saith it?  The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart:  that is, the Word of Faith, which we preach; that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For the Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Gentile:  for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

1 Corinthians 15:1-6 - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved . . . For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures . . . He was seen (alive again) of above (by more than) five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

1 John 1:8-10If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousnessIf we say that we have not sinned, we make (call) Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.

BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS
