THE GOSPEL: THE ONLY MESSAGE
WITH THE POWER TO SAVE LOST SOULS!
Romans 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (non-Jew; Gentile).
1 Corinthians 15:1-6 - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which you also have received, and wherein you stand; by which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures [see Isaiah 53:5; Daniel 9:26]; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures [see Psalm 16:10; Isaiah 53:10]: and that He was seen (alive) of Cephas (by Peter), then of (by) the twelve: after that, He was seen (alive) of above (by more than) five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain (alive) unto this present (until now), but some are fallen asleep (some have died).
RELIGIOUS WORKS CANNOT SAVE A LOST SOUL!
Romans 4:1-4 - What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, has found? For if Abraham were justified (declared acceptable by God) by (his religious) works, he has whereof to glory; but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness [see Galatians 3:6; James 2:23]. Now to him that works is the reward not reckoned of grace (a gift), but of debt.
Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves (not of your own doing): it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.
Titus 3:4-5 - But after the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us....
GENUINE FAITH WILL BE SHARED WITH OTHERS!
Psalm 107:1-2 - O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good: for His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so....
Romans 10:9-13 - IF you will (publicly) confess, with your mouth, (your faith in) the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes (and it is accounted) unto (him for) righteousness; and with the mouth, confession (of his faith in Christ) is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, Whosoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek (non-Jew; Gentile): for the same Lord over all is rich (in mercy and grace) unto all who call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Note: mercy is not getting what one deserves, God's forgiveness; grace is getting what one does not deserve, our adoption by God! Righteousness is the only state of man whereby he is acceptable with the Lord; it is itself, the gift that saves.
2 Corinthians 5:21 - For He (The Father) has made Him (Jesus, His Only Begotten Son) to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God (by faith) in Him.
