ROMANS 12:14-21
OVERCOMING YOUR ENEMIES!
Bless those who persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with those who do rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as is within you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord. Therefore if your enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing you shall heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.1 JOHN 5:1-5
BECOMING AN OVERCOMER!
Whosoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and everyone who loves Him Who begat loves Him also Who is begotten of Him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His commandments (do His will). For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
1 JOHN 3:1-2
BE PATIENT WITH YOURSELF;
ONE DAY VERY SOON, YOU AND I
WILL BE LIKE OUR LORD JESUS!
Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew Him not. Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.
