SALVATION: BOOKS, A BOOK, AND A LAKE OF FIRE!

 GOD'S OFFER TO SAVE US FROM

THE ETERNAL LAKE OF FIRE!

John 3:14-18And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,* even so must the Son of Man be lifted up:  that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.  For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.  He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the Only Begotten Son of God.

*Note:  See that event as a type for Christ's Crucifixion in Numbers 21:8-9.

Revelation 20:10-15 - And the devil that deceived them was cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.  And I saw a Great White Throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened:* and another book** was opened, which is the Book of Life:** and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books,* according to their works.  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:  and they were judged every man according to their works.  And death and hell were cast into the Lake of Fire.  This is the second death.  And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life** was cast into the Lake of Fire.

*Note:  "The books" apparently are records of a person's thoughts, words, and deeds, which reveal all are guilty of sin, and therefore, worthy of death in the Lake of Fire.

**Note:  "The Book of Life" apparently is a record of those who accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and who therefore will benefit from Jesus taking our sin and giving us His righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21)!  "The Lamb's Book of Life" is also mentioned in Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:5; 13:8; 17:8; 21:27; and 22:19.

NO ONE DESERVES TO BE SAVED;

SALVATION IS A GIFT OFFERED,

AND MUST BE ACCEPTED BY FAITH!
