SO YOU THINK YOU KNOW GOD?

MANKIND IS IGNORANT OF THE THINGS OF GOD!

Nehemiah 9:17 - And refused to obey, neither were mindful of Thy wonders that Thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage:  but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsook them not.

Psalm 22:3, 9But Thou are holy, O Thou that inhabits the praises of Israel. . . . But Thou are He that took me out of the womb:  Thou did make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.

Proverbs 16:2, 9 - All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weighs the spirits. . . . A man's heart devises his way:  but the LORD directs his steps.

Proverbs 17:3 - The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold:  but the LORD tries the hearts.

Proverbs 21:2 - Every way of a man is right in his own eyes:  but the LORD ponders the hearts.

Isaiah 55:8-9 - For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the LORD.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.

- - - BUT - - -

Romans 8:26-39 - Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  And He that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.  For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestine to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn (Resurrected) among many brethren.  Moreover whom He did predestine, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified.

What shall we then say to these things?  If God be for us, who can be against us?  He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?  Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect?  It is God that justifies.  Who is he that condemns? It is Christ Who died, yea rather, Who is risen again, Who is even at the right hand of God, Who also makes intercession for us.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?  Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him Who loved us.  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOR FORGIVING OUR SINS,

AND FOR CONTINUING TO TOLERATE OUR IGNORANCE!
