THESE WILL BE IN THE NEW HEAVEN!

THE BRIDE, THE LAMB'S WIFE

FROM ISRAEL

Revelation 21:9-13, 21 - And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife.  And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the Holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God:  and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; and had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of IsraelOn the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. - - - And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

Genesis 35:22-26 - Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:
>   The sons of Leah; Reuben, Jacob's firstborn, and Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Zebulun:
>   The sons of Rachel; Joseph, and Benjamin:
>   And the sons of Bilhah, Rachel's handmaid; Dan, and Naphtali:
>   And the sons of Zilpah, Leah's handmaid; Gad, and Asher: these are the sons of Jacob, which were born to him in Padan-aram.

Note:  The twelve "tribes" that will inherit the land:
Simeon, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph (and his two sons:  Ephraim and Manasseh), Benjamin, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.  Reuben lost his birthright due to immorality, and Levi inherited no land, as they were called to be priests of Israel.]

FROM THE CHURCH

Revelation 21:14-20 - And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the LambAnd he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.  And the city was foursquare, and the length was as large as the breadth:  and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs.  The length and the breadth and the height of it were equal.  And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.  And the building of the wall of it was of jasper:  and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.  And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones.  The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

Luke 6:13-16And . . . He chose twelve, whom also he named apostles:
Simon, (whom He also named Peter), and Andrew his brother, James and John,
Philip and Bartholomew, Matthew and Thomas
James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, who also was the traitor.

Notes:  Judas Iscariot committed suicide, leaving eleven disciples / Apostles.  Acts 1:13 - And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.
There is some debate as to the name of number twelve:  some believe it was Matthias, who was chosen by lots, and whose name is never mentioned following Peter's "business meeting" in Acts 1:15-26, held before they were filled with the Holy Spirit!
Others, including me, believe it was the Apostle Paul, as he wrote about half of the New Testament; he, unlike Matthias, was chosen by Jesus Christ Himself (Acts 9:1-31)!  He identified himself as an Apostle in the first verse of the books of Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians Ephesians, Colossians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, and Titus!  It is significant that Peter, writing of Paul's epistles, called them Scripture (2 Pet. 3:15-16)!

HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT ISRAEL WILL BE IN HEAVEN?
DOESN'T ONE HAVE TO BELIEVE IN JESUS TO BE THERE?

The answer to these questions is somewhat complex.  We know that before Jesus' First Coming, people like Abraham, David, Elijah, Noah, etc., trusted in God, and they were granted God's grace and His righteousness (Romans 4:3; Hebrews 11:1-40; etc.).  We know that the "thief on the cross" believed, and will be there (Luke 23:40-43).  We also know that for the born again believer, "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord," Who will be there (2 Corinthians 5:8; Revelation 21:22-23)!

In addition, the Word says that there will come a time (most likely when the Antichrist declares himself to be God (Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:15-28; Revelation 13:1-10; etc.), that God will remove Israel's partial blindness, and they, realizing that Jesus was their Messiah after all, will trust in Him and be saved (Romans 11:25-27; for Jews in heaven, also see Revelation 7:4-8; 14:1-5; etc.).

DO YOU WANT TO SPEND ETERNITY WITH GOD?

TRUST IN JESUS, FOR IN JOHN 14:6, HE SAID . . .

"I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE:
NO MAN COMES UNTO THE FATHER BUT BY ME!"
