GOD'S WORKS PRODUCE HUMILITY IN BELIEVERS!

GOD'S WORK ON MAN'S BEHALF!

John 1:11-13 - He (Jesus) came unto His own (the Jews), and His own received Him not.  But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons (children) of God, even to those who believe on His name:  who are born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 3:3-8Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  Nicodemus said unto Him, How can a man be born when he is old?  Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born (a second physical birth)Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born of water (physical birth) and of the Spirit (Spiritual birth), he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  Marvel not that I said unto you, You must be born again.  The wind blows where it listeth (wills; desires), and you hear the sound thereof, but can not tell whence (from where) it comes, and whither (where) it goes:  so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

John 6:44-45 - No man can come to Me, except the Father Who has sent Me draw him:  and I will raise him up at the last day.  It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God.  Every man therefore who has heard (faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God - see Romans 10:17), and has learned of the Father, comes unto Me.

John 14:6Jesus said unto him, I AM the Way, (I AM) the Truth, and (I AM) the Life:  no man comes unto the Father, but by Me.

[Note:  Jesus identified Himself as the I AM (see John 8:24, 28, 58; 9:9; 13:19; 18:5, 6, 8)!]

Ephesians 2:8-10 - For by grace (unmerited, unearned favor) are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:  not of works, lest any man should boast.  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.

Philippians 1:3-6 - I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, for your fellowship in the Gospel from the first day until now; being confident of this very thing, that He Who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ....

Philippians 2:13 - For it is God Who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.

NOW READ THIS IN LIGHT OF THE ABOVE!

Hebrews 13:20-21Now the God of peace, Who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that Great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to Whom be glory forever and ever.  Amen.
