ARE YOU BORN AGAIN?

I am sure if you are reading this, you call yourself a Christian, but have you ever considered that a great many of those professing to believe in Christ, are not born again?  Maybe you are one of those who believe what you have read or been told about Jesus, but you are not born again.  After all, the devils believe (Jam. 2:19)!  If believing is not what it takes, then how does one become a born again believer?  The answer is, it is not by our works that we are saved (Eph. 2:8-9), but it is the work of God; it is the work of the Trinity!

THE SON:  John 14:6 says, "Jesus saith unto him, I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me."

THE FATHER:  John 6:44 says, "No man can come to Me (Jesus), except The Father which hath sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day."

THE SPIRIT:  John 16:13-14 say, "Howbeit when He, The Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.  He shall glorify Me: for He shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you."

THE FAITH:  Ephesians 2:8 says, "For by grace (a gift; unmerited favor) are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God."

THE WORD:  Romans 10:17 says, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

BECOMING BORN AGAIN:  Romans 10:9-10 say, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus (repent and let Him be your Lord), and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead (believe the Gospel, that Jesus died for you), thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

NOTE:  Just as the word "believe" is in the present tense, so is "confess."  If one is born again, there will not be a time when he does not believe, and should he be asked, at the risk of his own life, he will confess that Jesus Christ is both his Lord and his Savior.

Being born again spiritually is the work of God!
It is through the Word of God, in the heart of man.
