JESUS IS LORD, AND HE SAVES HIS FOLLOWERS

"Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel" (Isa. 7:14).  "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us." (Mt. 1:23)]

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." (Isa. 9:6).

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.  For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." (Jn. 1:1, 14, 17).

"He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I AM?  And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but My Father which is in heaven." (Mt. 16:15-17).

"And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.  Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.  Ye call Me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I AM." (Ex. 3:14; Jn. 8:58; 13:13 - see also Jn. 6:48; 8:12; 10:9; 10:11; 11:25; 14:6; 15:1; etc.)!

"Which in His times He shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords.  And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."  (1 Tim. 6:15; Rev. 19:16).

If you are preaching a Jesus who is not LORD, you are preaching a false Jesus!

Jesus is LORD; saving is what He does!
