IF JESUS IS YOUR LORD, YOU WILL LOVE!

I do not understand how people who claim to be believers in Jesus Christ, those who know they themselves still sin, find it impossible to forgive others who are less than perfect. Jesus ONE COMMAND to His followers was to love one another - no exceptions - family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, and even enemies! The Apostle Paul described what love is in his letter to the Corinthians:

"Love is patient and kind.  Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude.  It does not demand its own way.  It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.  It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.  Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance." (1 Cor. 13:4-7 NLT).

When our spiritual life is perfect (not happening this side of our presence with the Lord), until then, we are to love like described by Paul.  If we fail to do so, then we are sinning - period!   Forgiveness of others is a prerequisite for our daily forgiveness.   Remember, "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us."  Please read the entire references cited below:

Galatians 5:13-14 - "...Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself...."
1 Thessalonians 3:12-13 - "...abound in love one toward another...."
James 2:8 - "...Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself...."

They shall KNOW you are Christians by your love, one for another!
