WHO IS THIS JESUS?

Matthew 16:16, 20 - "And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.  Then charged He His disciples that they should tell no man that He was Jesus the Christ."
John 1:41 - "He first found his own brother Simon, and said unto him, We have found the Messiah, which is, being interpreted, the Christ."
John 4:42 - "And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard Him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world."
John 11:27 - "She said unto Him, Yea, Lord: I believe that Thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world."
John 20:28-31 - "And Thomas answered and said unto Him, My Lord and my God.  Jesus said unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen Me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.  And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book:  but these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through His name."

HOWEVER

1 John 2:22 - "Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ?  He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son."

BUT

 

1 John 5:1 - "Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loves Him that begat loves Him also that is begotten of Him."

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Acts 13:33 - "God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that He hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art  My Son, this day have I begotten Thee."
