THE FOCUS OF THE TRIBULATION IS ON ISRAEL!
DANIEL'S SEVENTIETH WEEK
Daniel 9:24-27 - Seventy weeks (490 years) are determined upon thy people (Israel) and upon thy holy city (Jerusalem), to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem (by Artaxerxes in 444 B.C. - see Ezra 4) unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks (49 years + 420 years + 14 years = 483 years): the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after (the) threescore and two weeks (420 years + 14 years = 434 years) shall Messiah be cut off (killed), but not for Himself (He will die for others): and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary (the future "prince," Antichrist, will be from the former Roman Empire, as Rome destroyed Jerusalem in A.D. 70): and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he (Antichrist) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (seven years): and in the midst of the week (seven years)* he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Note: "in the midst of the week" is 1260 days (see Rev. 11:3; 12:6); or 42 months of 30 days each (see Rev. 11:2; 13:5); or a "Time, times, and a half a time" where a time = one year (see Dan. 7:25; 12:7; Rev. 12:14). The period between Daniel's Sixty-ninth Week and Daniel's Seventieth Week, is known as the Church Age. The Church began (Acts 2) following Christ Ascension (Acts 1), and will end with the removal of the Church in what is known as the Rapture; this occurs prior to the Tribulation, when Daniel's Timetable resumes.
THE TIME OF JACOB'S TROUBLE
Jeremiah 30:4-7 - And these are the words that the LORD spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah. For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? Wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? Alas! For that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.
THE RAPTURE: THE END OF THE CHURCH AGE!
John 14:1-3 - Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
1 Corinthians 15:50-54 - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1 Thessalonians 1:9-10 - For they themselves show of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; and to wait for His Son from heaven, Whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, Who delivered us from the wrath to come.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 - But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Thessalonians 5:9-11 - For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
JESUS DIED TO BE THE SAVIOR OF SINNERS:
GOD RAISED HIM TO BE LORD OF THE SAVED!
PUT YOUR TRUST IN HIM TODAY,
AND YOU WILL BE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL!
