THE BIBLE CALLS SOME PEOPLE HYPOCRITES!
Matthew 6:2 - People who brag about giving to the poor.
Matthew 6:5 - People who pray so that others hear and think they are spiritual.
Matthew 6:16 - People who fast and act overwhelmed by hunger.
Matthew 15:4-9 - People who care for their parents for their own glory.
Matthew 22:15-22 - People who pretend to seek advice with a motive to find fault.
Matthew 23:15 - People who attempt to make others their disciples instead of Christ's.
Matthew 23:23 - People who are legalistic about the letter of the Law, but fail to recognize the spirit of the Law; such as being just and merciful.
Matthew 23:25-27 - People who appear to be holy, but filled with sinful and evil thoughts.
Matthew 23:29 - People who publicly honor others, while being a racist bigot inside.
1 John 4:20 - People who say they love God, while hating their neighbor.
THE BIBLE CALLS SOME PEOPLE FOOLS!
Psalm 14:1; 53:1 - People who deny the existence of God are fools.
Psalm 92:5-6 - People who are not in awe at God's creation.
Proverb 10:8 - People who ignore God's Word, but love to hear themselves talk.
Proverb 10:18 - People who pretend to care but who slander the person.
Proverb 12:15 - People who think they are always right and are unteachable.
Proverb 26:11 - People who continue to return to their bad habits.
Proverb 28:26 - People who are led by their emotions instead of wisdom.
Matthew 7:26 - People who hear the Lord's will, but refuse to obey Him.
Luke 12:16-20; James 4:13-16 - People who think tomorrow is guaranteed.
Titus 3:9 - People who delight in arguing about spiritual things.
WHILE BELIEVERS ARE CERTAINLY NOT FOOLS;
YET, WE ARE ALL DEFINITELY HYPOCRITES!
Romans 7:15-25 - We constantly struggle with our own lusts and desires.
Philippians 1:6; 2:13 - God has only just begun making us like His Only Begotten Son!
1 John 3:2 - God will not finish transforming us until we actually see Jesus.
WE TRUST GOD FOR OUR SALVATION;
WE SHOULD ALSO TRUST HIM WHO
HAS SEALED US UNTIL WE SEE HIM!
