JESUS COULD HAVE SAID, "I TOLD YOU SO!"

JESUS REPEATEDLY PROPHESIED ABOUT
HIS CRUCIFIXION AND RESURRECTION!

Matthew 12:40 - For as Jonas (Jonah) was three days and three nights in the whale's (ketos:  a huge fish - see Jonah 1:17) belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Matthew 16:21From that time forth began Jesus to show unto His disciples, how that He must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

Matthew 17:22-23 - And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:  and they shall kill Him, and the third day He shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.

Matthew 22:18-19 - Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn Him to death, and shall deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify Him:  and the third day He shall rise again.

Matthew 27:62-64 Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while He was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.  Command therefore that the sepulcher be made sure until the third day, lest His disciples come by night, and steal Him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead:  so the last error shall be worse than the first.

Mark 8:31And He began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

Mark 9:31For He taught His disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill Him; and after that He is killed, He shall rise the third day.

Mark 10:32-34And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them:  and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid.  And He took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto Him, saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn Him to death, and shall deliver Him to the Gentiles:  and they shall mock Him, and shall scourge Him, and shall spit upon Him, and shall kill Him:  and the third day He shall rise again.

Luke 9:22 - Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.

Luke 18:31-33Then He took unto Him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.  For He shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spit upon:  and they shall scourge Him, and put Him to death:  and the third day He shall rise again.

LIKE ALL OF THE PROPHECIES IN THE SCRIPTURE,
HIS PROPHECIES WERE LITERALLY FULFILLED!

Luke 24:1-7Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulcher, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.  And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulcher.  And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.  And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:  and as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?  He is not here, but is risen:  remember how He spoke unto you when He was yet in Galilee, saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

Luke 24:25-27Then He (Jesus) said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:  ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into His glory?  And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded unto them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.

Luke 24:44-46And He said unto them, These are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the Law of Moses, and in the Prophets, and in the Psalms, concerning Me.  Then opened He their understanding, that they might understand the Scriptures, and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day.

BELIEVING THE GOSPEL MESSAGE,
RESULTS IN YOUR SALVATION!

1 Corinthians 15:1-6 - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; by which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain.  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:  and that He was seen of Cephas (Peter), then of the twelve:  after that, He was seen of above (by more than) five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present (day), but some are fallen asleep (some have died).

JESUS IS DUE TO RETURN
FOR HIS CHURCH ANY DAY;
TRUST IN HIS FINISHED WORK
ON YOUR BEHALF TODAY
WHILE YOU STILL HAVE TIME!
