THE BOOK OF REVELATION!

THE THREE DIVISIONS OF TIME ON EARTH:
THE PAST; THE PRESENT; AND THE FUTURE!

Key Verse - Revelation 1:19 - "Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter."

THE THINGS WHICH JOHN HAD SEEN!

Revelation 1:9-18 - John had seen Jesus Christ in all His glory.

THE THINGS WHICH INVOLVE THE CHURCH AGE!

Revelation 2:1-3:22 - John saw seven churches representing the Church Age.  The Church was "born" on the Day of Pentecost (see Acts 2:1-47).  The following is suggested:

Ephesus - The Apostolic Church - A.D. 30 - 100
Smyrna - The Faithful Church - A.D. 100 - 312
Pergamum - The Roman State Church - A.D. 312 - 606
Thyatira - The Roman Catholic Church - A.D. 606 - Christ's Second Coming
Sardis - The Reformation Church - A.D. 1520 - Christ's Second Coming
Philadelphia - The Christ-led Church - A.D. 1750 - The Rapture
Laodicea - The Christ-less Church - A.D. 1900 - Christ's Second Coming

[Note:  The Church is not mentioned after Chapter Three!]

THE THINGS WHICH SHALL BE AFTER THE CHURCH AGE!

THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH!

Revelation 4:1 - "After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither,* and I will show you things which must be hereafter."

[Note:  * John is a type, a picture, of the Rapture (Catching Away) of the Church.
For further study on the Rapture of the Christ-led Church
(see John 14:1-3; 1 Corinthians 15:50-54; and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).]

THE SEVEN-YEAR TRIBULATION!

[Note:  The Tribulation is also known as Daniel's Seventieth Week (Daniel 9:27), and The Time of Jacob's Trouble (Jeremiah 30:7).  It will be divided into to exact halves:
1260 days (Revelation 11:3; 12:6); 42 months (Revelation 11:2; 13:5); and a Time, Times, and a Half Time (Daniel 7:25; Revelation 12:14).]

THE FIRST HALF OF THE TRIBULATION!

Revelation Chapters 6-12 - It is also described in Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:1-14; Mark 13:1-13; and Luke 21:5-19.

THE MID-POINT OF THE TRIBULATION!

Revelation Chapter 13 - It is found in Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:15; Mark 13:14; and Luke 21:20.

THE SECOND HALF OF THE TRIBULATION!

Revelation Chapters 14-19 - It is found in Matthew 24:16-28; Mark 13:15-23; Luke 21:21-24.

THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST!

Revelation Chapter 19 - Here are a few of the many places it is mentioned:  Matthew 24:30; Mark 13:26; Luke 21:27; Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11-21.

THE 1000 YEAR MILLENNIAL REIGN OF CHRIST ON EARTH!

Revelation Chapter 20 - See also:  Daniel 2:44; 7:27; 2 Timothy 2:12; Revelation 5:10; etc.

THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT!

Revelation 20:11-15 - "And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened:  and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life:  and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:  and they were judged every man according to their works.  And death and hell were cast into the Lake of Fire.  This is the second death.  And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire."

THE NEW HEAVEN, THE NEW EARTH, AND ETERNITY!

Revelation Chapters 21-22 - All those whose names were written in the Lamb's Book of Life, will spent eternity with God Himself!  We shall be there because of what Christ did for us on the cross (He died for our sins), and we will not only spend eternity with the Resurrected King of kings and Lord of lords, we shall finally be like Him:

1 John 3:2 - "Beloved, now are we the sons (children) of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be:  but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is."

John 1:12-13 - ". . . as many as received Him (Jesus), to them gave He power to become the sons (children) of God, even to them that believe on His name:  who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."

I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!
