WHO HE IS AND WHAT HE DOES

WHO IS JESUS?

Creator God - John 1:1, 3, 14 - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."

God Manifest in the Flesh - 1 Timothy 3:16 - "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:  God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."

God With Us - Matthew 1:23 - "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us."

The only Begotten Son of God - John 3:18 "He that believeth on Him is not condemned:  but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

The Almighty - Revelation 1:8 - "I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, The Almighty."

The I AM - John 18:5-6 - "They answered Him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am.  And Judas also, which betrayed Him, stood with them.  As soon then as He had said unto them, I am, they went backward, and fell to the ground."

Master and Lord - John 13:13 - "Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am."

King of kings and Lord of lords - Revelation 19:16 - "And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

WHAT DOES JESUS DO?

Jesus Saves - 1 John 4:14-15; Romans 10:9-10 - "And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.  Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God."  "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
