FOR BELIEVERS, IT WILL BE WORTH THE WAIT!

WAITING FOR THE LORD'S RETURN!

Psalm 27:14 - Wait on the LORD:  be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart:  wait, I say, on the LORD.

Psalm 130:5-6 - I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, and in His Word do I hope.  My soul waits for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning:  I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

Isaiah 40:31 - But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Luke 8:40 - And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received Him:  for they were all waiting for Him.

Romans 8:18-23 - For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.  For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the children of God. - - - Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.  For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now.  And not only they, but ourselves also, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

1 Corinthians 1:6-8 - Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:  so that you come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:  Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Galatians 5:5 - For we, through the Spirit, wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

1 Thessalonians 1:9-10 - For they themselves show - - - how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; and to wait for His Son from heaven, Whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, Who delivered us from the wrath to come.

2 Thessalonians 3:5 - And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

BELIEVERS LOOK FOR HIM AS OUR BLESSED HOPE!

UNBELIEVERS WILL SEE HIM AS THEIR JUDGE!
