ISRAEL IS GOD'S CHOSEN NATION!
Genesis 12:1-3 - Now the LORD had said unto Abram (later known as Abraham - see Gen. 17:5), Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee: and I will make of thee a great nation (later known as Israel - see Gen. 32:28, 32; 35:10; 1 Sam. 13:19; etc.), and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curses thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
JESUS: SON OF ABRAHAM - THE SON OF GOD!
Matthew 1:1; 16:16-17 - The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham . . . . And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood has not revealed it unto thee, but My Father Who is in heaven.
Matthew 2:1-6 - Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, saying, Where is He that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the east, and are come to worship Him. When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, art not the least among the princes of Judah: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule My people Israel.
JESUS: SAVIOR OF ALL BELIEVERS!
Romans 9:21-28 - Has not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor? What if God, willing to show His wrath, and to make His power known, endured with much long suffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had afore prepared unto glory, even us, whom He has called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? As He said also in Osee (Hosea), I will call them My people, which were not My people; and her beloved, which was not beloved. And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not My people; there shall they be called the children of the living God. Esaias (Isaiah) also cried concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, (only) a remnant shall be saved: for He will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.
WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE
NAME OF THE LORD, SHALL BE SAVED!
Romans 10:9-13 (as I understand it) - If you confess with your mouth faith in the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you are saved. For with the heart man believes and is declared by God to be righteous; and with the mouth confession of one's faith in Him results in salvation. For the Scripture says, Whosoever truly believes in Him shall not be ashamed. And there is no difference between the Jew and the Gentile: for the same Lord over all is rich in mercy (pardon) and grace (salvation) unto all who call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
LUKE 1:32 - WHEN JESUS RETURNS, HE
WILL REIGN ON THE THRONE OF DAVID!
