THE ONLY MESSAGE THAT CAN SAVE THE LOST!

THE MESSAGE CHRISTIANS ARE TO PROCLAIM!

Luke 24:44-48 -  And He (Jesus) said unto them, These are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the Law of Moses, and in the Prophets, and in the Psalms, concerning Me.  Then opened He their understanding, that they might understand the Scriptures, and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: and that REPENTANCE AND REMISSION OF SINS should be preached in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.  And you are witnesses of these things.

THE GOSPEL EXPLAINS "THE REMISSION OF SINS!"

1 Corinthians 15:1-6 - Moreover, brethren, I (Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles - Rom. 11:13) declare unto you THE GOSPEL (the message of good news which has the power to save all who believe it - Rom. 1:16) which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; by which also you are saved . . . . For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:  and that He was seen by Cephas (Peter, the Apostle to the Jews - Gal. 2:8), then (by all) of the twelve:  after that, He was seen of above (by more than) five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present (are still living), but some have fallen asleep (some have died).

THE RESPONSE TO THE GOSPEL THAT SHOWS ONE BELIEVES IT!

Acts 2:37-38

[A GUILTY CONSCIENCE = REPENTANCE] Now when they heard this (the Gospel - Acts 2:22-36), they were pricked in their heart

[HUMILITY] and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do  (humility - see Mic. 6:8; Eph. 2:8-9; Jam. 4:6; 1 Pet. 5:5; etc.)?

[SUBMISSION] Then Peter said unto them, Repent (have a change of mind about Jesus - see verses 22-36), and be baptized  (baptism always follows salvation - see Acts 8:35-38 below; 10:47; etc.) every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins (because Jesus shed His blood to pay for sins - see Mt. 26:28; Lk. 24:47; Acts 10:43; Heb. 9:22; etc.), and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (salvation - see Eph. 2:8-9).

THE BEST EXAMPLE:

Acts 8:35-38 - Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same Scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.  And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water:  and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what does hinder me to be baptized?  And Philip said, If you believe with all your heart, you may.  And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  And he commanded the chariot to stand still:  and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

JESUS DIED FOR YOUR SINS!  JESUS WAS BURIED FOR THREE DAYS!
JESUS ROSE FROM THE GRAVE!  HE WAS SEEN ALIVE BY MANY!

DO YOU BELIEVE?
CAN OTHERS TELL YOU DO?
