LORDSHIP SALVATION

Due to the fact that most of those I know, who, claiming to be Christians, live their lives in such a way that it is impossible to recognize them as such, I feel the need to remind them of the identity of Jesus of Nazareth!

Jesus is God!  -  "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.  But unto the Son He saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of Thy kingdom" (Jn. 1:1, 14; Heb. 1:8).

Jesus is the Creator of the Universe!  -  "All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.  For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him.  Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds"  (Jn. 1:2; Col. 1:16; Heb. 1:2).

Jesus is Lord!  -  "And Thomas answered and said unto Him, My Lord and my God.  And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Jn. 20:28; Acts 16:31; Rom. 10:9).  [Note:  The word "Lord" appears 7888 times in the K.J.V., while the word "Saviour" appears 37 times!  Jesus IS Lord; being the Savior is what He did!].

Jesus gave commands to His Church, not requests!  -  "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.  This is My commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.  These things I command you, that ye love one another" (Mt. 22:37-40; Jn. 15:12, 17)!

The saved have called upon the LORD!
