ONE MESSAGE FOR ALL MANKIND

Some say that the Apostle Peter was called to preach only to the Jews, and that the Apostle Paul was called of God to preach only to the Gentiles.  They support their belief with verses such as John 21:15-17, where Jesus tells Peter to "feed My sheep," and Acts 9:15, where He says this of Paul: "for he is a chosen vessel unto Me, to bear My name before the Gentiles."  However, they conveniently forget that Jesus has "other sheep" for Peter's tending (Jn. 10:16)!  They forget the rest of Acts 9:15 which says, "and kings, and the children of Israel."  They forget that it was Peter who first acknowledged the Gentiles as brethren (Acts 10:34-48).  They forget that Paul first went into the Synagogues on his missionary journeys, and how he said "There is neither Jew nor Greek...for ye are all one in Christ Jesus" (Gal. 3:28).

There is but one message!  There is but one Gospel!  Paul wrote:

"I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another Gospel:  which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the Gospel of Christ.  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other Gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.  As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed" (Gal. 1:6-9).

Do you suppose Peter preached another Gospel?  Do you suppose Paul was telling the Church to curse Peter?  NO!  Peter preached the same Gospel as did Paul!

"Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by Him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:  Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slainWhom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it" (Acts 2:22-24).  "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call" (Acts 2:38-39)!

Jesus was crucified for the remission of sins.  Jesus was buried, but His Father raised Him up.  How does that differ from the Gospel according to Paul?

"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures" (1 Cor. 15:3-4)!

It doesn't!  There is one Gospel that is the power of God to save the lost (Rom. 1:16):

"For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ:
for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;
to the Jew first, AND also to the Greek."
