GOD IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS

Acts 10:28, 34-35 - "And (Peter) said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath showed me that I should not call any man common or unclean....Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons...."

Hebrews 11 supports Peter's "new-found" truth

Verses 1-3 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  For by it the elders obtained a good report.  Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."

Verse 4 - By faith Abel - A Gentile.
Verse 5 - By faith Enoch - A Gentile.
Verse 7 - By faith Noah - A Gentile.
Verse 8 - By faith Abraham - A Gentile, when he was called.
Verse 17 - By faith Abraham - A circumcised Hebrew.
Verse 20 - By faith Isaac - A circumcised Hebrew.
Verse 21 - By faith Jacob - A circumcised Hebrew.
Verse 22 - By faith Joseph - A circumcised Hebrew.
Verse 23 - By faith Moses - A circumcised Hebrew.
Verse 30 - By faith Joshua - A circumcised Hebrew.
Verse 31 - By faith Rahab - A Gentile.
Verse 32 - By faith Gideon - A circumcised Hebrew.
By faith Barak - A circumcised Hebrew.
By faith Samson - A circumcised Hebrew.
By faith Jephthae - A circumcised Hebrew.
By faith David - A circumcised Hebrew.
By faith Samuel - A circumcised Hebrew.

Verses 39-40 - "And these all, having obtained a good report through faith...."

Abraham was a liar.  Isaac was a liar.  Jacob was deceitful.  Moses was a murderer.  Rahab was a prostitute.  Samson married a Gentile. David was a murder.  If God has the ability to transform them to the extent that their names are listed in the "Faith Hall of Fame," certainly He is able to do the same today!  After all, the Apostle Paul, author of nearly half of the New Testament, was a persecutor of Christians.

"(Jesus) said unto them, Go ye into all the world,
and preach the gospel to EVERY creature" (Mk. 16:15)!
"...he that winneth souls is wise" (Prov. 11:30)!
