ALL SIN HAS CONSEQUENCES!

AN EXAMPLE OF THE CONSEQUENCES 

OF SIN DURING AN UNBELIEVER'S LIFE!

Romans 1:18-32 - As I understand them!

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God has showed it unto them.  For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  because that, when they knew God, they did not glorify Him, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish hearts were darkened.  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like unto corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.  Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:  who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, Who is blessed forever. Amen.  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:  and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is shameful, and receiving in themselves the consequences of their error which was just.  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not acceptable; being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, depraved; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, overpowering, unmerciful:  who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

AN EXAMPLE OF THE CONSEQUENCES 

OF SIN DURING A BELIEVER'S LIFE!

1 Corinthians 11:23-30 - As I understand them!

For I have received instructions from the Lord which I also delivered to you, That the Lord Jesus, the same night in which He was betrayed, took bread:  and when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, Take, eat:  this is My body, which is broken for you:  this do in remembrance of Me.  Likewise, He also took the cup, after He ate His portion of the bread, saying, This cup is the New Covenant, which has been written in My blood:  as often as you drink it, drink it in remembrance of Me.  For as often as you eat this bread, and drink this cup, you proclaim your Lord's death till He returns.  Therefore, whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of disrespecting the body and blood of the Lord.  But let every man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.  For he that eats and drinks in an unworthy manner, eats and drinks judgment upon himself, for disrespecting the Lord's body.  For this cause, many are weak and sick among you, and many have died.  [Note:  God removes His children physically, but they remain His children - see 1 Cor. 5:5]

THE FINAL CONSEQUENCES OF THE SIN 

OF REJECTING JESUS CHRIST AS LORD!

Revelation 20:10-15 - As I understand them!

And the devil who deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.  [Note:  They were not annihilated, nor did they cease to exist - they were still, and are still, suffering the torment in the lake of fire]  And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from Whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life:  and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:  and they were judged every man according to their works.  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.  This is the second death.  And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

OUR THOUGHTS, WORDS, AND DEEDS

SHOW ALL OF US DESERVE TO 

SPEND ETERNITY IN THE LAKE OF FIRE; 

BUT THE LAMB'S BOOK OF LIFE 

CONTAINS THE NAMES OF ALL WHO

ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST AS THEIR LORD!
