THE FIRST SIN; THE ONLY SAVIOR!

THE FIRST SIN:
UNBELIEF - FAILURE TO BELIEVE GOD!

Genesis 3:1-6 - Now the serpent (Satan:  see Rev. 12:9; 20:2) was more subtle (shrewd, crafty, a liar:  see Jn. 8:44) than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made.  And he said unto the woman, Yea, has God said, You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?  And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:  but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it (there is no biblical evidence that God said this), lest you (or you will) die.  And the serpent said unto the woman, You shall not surely die:  for God does know that in the day (Adam lived 930 years, so God was speaking of one of His days:  see Gen. 5:5; Ps. 90:4; 2 Pet. 3:8) you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil (modern version:  knowing right from wrong).  And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

EVE WAS TRICKED BY A HEAVENLY BEING;
BUT ADAM LISTENED TO A HUMAN BEING,
AND SO, HE WAS THE FIRST TO SIN!

Genesis 3:17 And unto Adam He said, Because you have hearkened unto (listened to) the voice of your wife, and have eaten of the tree, of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it:  cursed is the ground for your sake (because of you); in sorrow shall you eat of it all the days of your life.

Romans 5:12 - Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

2 Corinthians 11:3; 14 - . . . the serpent beguiled (deceived; tricked) Eve through his subtlety (his shrewdness; craftiness) - - -  And no marvel (do not marvel); for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

DOUBTING GOD LEADS TO ETERNAL JUDGMENT!
BELIEVING GOD LEADS TO OUR BEING ADOPTED!

John 3:18; 36 - He that believes in Him (Jesus) is not condemned:  but he that believes not (does not believe) is condemned already (has already been judged and found guilty), because he has not believed in the name of the Only Begotten Son of God. - - - He that believes in the Son has everlasting life:  and he that believes not (does not believe in) the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him.

Romans 8:15; 23 - For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. - - - And not only they, but ourselves also, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit (that is), the redemption of our body.

Galatians 4:4-6 - But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the Law, to redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption of sons (children).  And because you are sons (His children), God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

BELIEVE GOD'S WORD AND BECOME HIS CHILD!

John 8:28; 58 - Then said Jesus unto them, When you have lifted up the Son of man, then shall you know that I AM, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father has taught Me, I speak these things. - - - Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily (Truly, truly), I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.

[Note:  "I AM" is the name God revealed to Moses - see Ex. 3:14; the word "he" that follows in the King James Version, is in italics, meaning it was not in the original manuscripts.]

John 11:25 - Jesus said unto her, I AM The Resurrection, and The Life:  he that believes (whoever believes) in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.

John 14:1, 6 - Let not your heart be troubled:  you believe in God, believe also in Me. - - - I AM The Way, (I AM) The Truth, and (I AM) The Life:  no man comes unto the Father, but by Me.

JESUS DIED FOR YOUR SINS, WAS BURIED, AND HIS FATHER RAISED HIM FROM THE GRAVE (AS THE SCRIPTURES SAID WOULD HAPPEN).  ACCEPT THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR; TRUST HIM; AND BECOME A CHILD OF GOD TODAY!
