FOUR THOUSAND POSTS AND COUNTING!

On November 5th, 2009, I wrote:  THIS IS MY FIRST POSTING ON MY NEW BLOG.  That was the entire post.  It was intended as a test to see if the new blog was working.  That was 3,713 days ago.  Today, I am writing my 4,000th post.  I had no idea I would be alive long enough to reach this "milestone," since every night since then, I was not sure I would awaken the next morning.  I began writing at the suggestion of my Pastor, Brian Tibbs, who not only suggested it, but actually talked me through setting it up.  He did so in response to my near-death experience with dozens of blood clots in my lungs; when he had asked to pray for me, I had told him not to pray that I live unless he also pray that the Lord would continue to use me in some sort of ministry.  

Since that day, I have had a filter implanted in my vena cava, and a pacemaker placed in my chest as well.  The latter was "added" as a result of an ambulance ride and several days in the hospital after "coding" at least twelve times.  Thank God I did not feel those "shocks" to restart my heart.  And sadly, I have no recollection of seeing God, or heaven, or "my life passing before my eyes," or floating above the chaos that must have been quite a sight.  I don't recall anything except awakening to strange faces frantically busying themselves working on me.  They were used of God to keep me here.  To be quite honest, I would much rather be absent from here and present with my Lord and Savior!  That, I am absolutely certain, will happen very, very soon, either via my final passing, or by the Lord's catching His children "outta here" in the Rapture!

THE RAPTURE OF BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS!

John 14:1-3 - Let not your heart be troubled:  you believe in God, believe also in Me.  In My Father's house are many mansions:  if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I AM, there you may be also.

1 Corinthians 15:50-54 - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.  Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:  for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

1 Thessalonians 1:10; 4:13-18; 5:9-10 - And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. . . . But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others who have no hope.  For IF we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so those also who sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.  For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) those who are asleep.  For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:  and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:  and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words. . . . For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

Revelation 3:10-11 - Because you have kept the Word of My patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try those who dwell upon the earth.  Behold, I come quickly:  hold that fast which you have, that no man take your crown.

WHETHER I AM LIVING AT THE TIME OF THE RAPTURE,

OR I HAVE GONE ON TO BE WITH THE LORD,  I AM SO 

BLESSED TO BE ABLE TO SAY, THANKS BE TO JESUS CHRIST,

FOR I KNOW I WILL BE WITH HIM FOREVER!
