DO NOT MESS WITH THE GOSPEL!

THE GOSPEL!

Mark 1:14-15 - Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the Gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand:  repent,* and believe the Gospel.

[Note:  * The Greek word here is metanoeo, which means "have a change of mind; renew your way of thinking" (in this case, about your relationship to God).]

Mark 16:15 - And He (Jesus) said unto them, Go into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature (every human being).

Romans 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ:  for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one who believes it; to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile.

1 Corinthians 15:1-6 - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; by which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain.  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:  and that he was seen of Cephas (by Peter), then of (by) the twelve:  after that, He was seen of above (by more than) five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present (until now), but some are fallen asleep (some have died).

A WARNING NOT TO ALTER THE GOSPEL!

Galatians 1:3-9 - Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:  to Whom be glory forever and ever.  Amen.  I marvel that you are so soon removed from Him Who called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:  which is not (really) another; but there are some who trouble you, and would pervert the Gospel of Christ.  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.*  As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that you have received, let him be accursed.*

[Note:  *  The Greek word here is anathema, which means "rejected from fellowship; shunned; excommunicated."] 

GOD'S OFFER STILL STANDS:

TRUST JESUS AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR,

AND YOU WILL SPEND ETERNITY WITH HIM!
