GOD'S ADOPTED CHILDREN!

BELIEVERS ARE NOT RELIGIOUS;
BELIEVERS ARE FAMILY!

Matthew 5:9; Romans 5:1 - Blessed are the peacemakers:  for they shall be called the children of God. . . . Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ....

Luke 20:34-36 - Jesus said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:  but they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world (heaven), and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:  neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels (eternal beings); and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

John 1:11-13 - He (Jesus) came unto His own (people; Israel), and His own received Him not.  But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on His name:  who were born (again), not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 11:49-52 - And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, You know nothing at all, nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.  And this spoke he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; and not for that nation only, but that also He should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

Romans 8:15-17 - For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.   The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:  and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ....

Galatians 3:24-26 - The Law was our school-master to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.  But after faith is come, we are no longer under a school-master.  For we are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

1 John 3:1-2 - Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God:  therefore the world knows us not, because it knew Him not.  Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.

Ephesians 2:8-9For by grace (God's unattainable favor) are you saved (adopted as the children of God) through faith; and that not of yourselves (it is not of your own doing):  it is the gift of God:  not of works, lest any man should boast (so that no man can brag).
