OUR FAITH IS BASED UPON OUR KNOWLEDGE!

JOHN SAYS WE CAN KNOW THESE THINGS!

John 4:41-42 - And many more (Samaritans) believed because of His own Word; and said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of your saying:  for we have heard Him ourselves, and know that this (Jesus) is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.

John 8:28 - Then said Jesus unto them, When you have lifted up the Son of man, then shall you know that I AM He,* and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father has taught Me, I speak these things.  (*Note:  "He" is not in the Greek texts.)

John 17:3 - And this is life eternal, that they might know You the only true God, and Jesus Christ, Whom You have sent.

John 20:30-31 - And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book:  but these are written, that you might believe (know) that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing, you might have life through His name.

1 John 2:3-5 - And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.*  He that says, I know Him, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.  But whosoever keeps His Word, in him verily is the love of God perfected:  hereby know we that we are in Him.  (*Note:  "His commandments" consist of loving God, and loving our neighbors - see Matthew 22:37-40.)

1 John 3:2, 5 - Beloved, now are we the sons (children) of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be:  but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is . . . . And you know that He was manifested* to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin.  (*Note:  Jesus was God manifest in the flesh, and He was sinless (see 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:15.)

1 John 4:1-2 - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God:  because many false prophets are gone out into the world.  Hereby know you the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.

1 John 5:13 - These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may (continue to) believe on the name of the Son of God.

BELIEVE THAT JESUS DIED FOR YOUR SINS,

THAT HE WAS BURIED AND RAISED TO LIFE,

JUST AS THE SCRIPTURES SAID HE WOULD,

AND YOU WILL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE!!!!!!!
