SEEING IS BELIEVING! OR IS IT?

BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO HAVE NOT SEEN!

[All Scripture is based upon my understanding of the King James Version.]

Hebrews 11:1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,* the evidence of things not seen.

(Greek - hypostasis elpizo, meaning "the foundation upon which one confidently trusts").

John 20:29 - Jesus said unto him, Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed:  blessed are those who have not seen, and yet have believed.

Romans 8:24-25For we are saved by hope:  but hope that is seen is not hope:  for what a man sees, why does he yet hope for it?  But if we hope for that we have not seen, then do we with patience wait for it.

SALVATION IS BASED UPON OUR FAITH!

John 1:11-13 - Jesus came unto His own people, Israel, and His own rejected Him.  But as many as accepted Him, to them gave He power to become the children of God, even to those who believe on His name:  who were born again, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 3:15-18That whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.  For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through faith in Him might be saved.  He that believes in Him is not condemned:  but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the Only Begotten Son of God.

Ephesians 2:4-9But God, who is rich in mercy (pardon; forgiveness), for His great love wherewith He loved us, even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us given us new life together with Christ, and has raised us up together, and made us worthy to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:  that in the ages to come, He might show the exceeding riches of His grace (His unearnable, unmerited favor) in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.  For by grace are you saved through faith; and salvation is not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:  not of works, lest any man should boast.

TRUE FAITH WILL BE SHARED WITH OTHERS!

Romans 10:9-13, 17 - IF you confess with your mouth your faith in the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you are saved.  For with the heart man believes and receives His righteousness (see Mt. 6:33; 2 Cor. 5:21); and with the mouth confession is made resulting in your salvation.  For the Scripture says, Whosoever believes in Him shall not be ashamed.  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Gentile:  for the same Lord, Who is over all, is rich in mercy and grace unto all who call upon Him.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. . . . So then faith comes by hearing and believing the Word of God.
