THE PRINCIPLE OF NOAH AND LOT!

GOD REMOVES HIS CHILDREN
BEFORE HE POURS OUT HIS WRATH!

Luke 17:26-29 - And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.  They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.  Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

Notes:  Of the first ten generations in the lineage of Jesus (Adam - Noah), only Noah was living on earth when the flood occurred; in the ark, he and his family were lifted up, with the destruction happening below.
Of Enoch, the seventh generation, the Hebrew in Gen. 5:24 actually reads "And Enoch walked with God and God took him."  The word "took" is laqach in the Hebrew, which is translated "received" 61 times, and "taken out or away" 57 times.  In Heb. 11:5, the writer says Enoch was "translated" (Greek metatithemi; the same Greek word is translated "removed" in Gal. 1:6.
Of Lot, before the LORD poured down fire and brimstone on Sodom and Gomorrah, God warned him by two angels telling him to go up into the mountains so that He could destroy them.  Lot finally complied in Gen. 19:30.

AS GOD'S CHILDREN, THE TRUE CHURCH
WILL BE REMOVED BEFORE THE TRIBULATION!

John 3:36 - He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Romans 2:5 - But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God....

Romans 5:9 - Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

1 Thessalonians 1:10 - And to wait for his Son from heaven, Whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, Who delivered us from the wrath to come.

1 Thessalonians 5:9-10For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

Revelation 6:16-17 - And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:  for the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Revelation 11:18 - And the nations were angry, and Thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that Thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear Thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Revelation 12:12 - Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea!  For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Revelation 14:10, 19 - The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb . . . . And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

Revelation 15:1, 7 - And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. . . . And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, Who liveth forever and ever.

Revelation 16:1 - And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

Notes:  The Tribulation (Mt. 24:29), a.k.a. The Time of Jacob's Trouble (Jer. 30:7) and Daniel's Seventieth Week (Dan. 9:27), will be the outpouring of God's wrath on the world.  Revelation Chapters 6 - 18 describe the wrath of God during the Tribulation.
Born again believers will have been caught up to God in what is known as the Rapture of the Church, prior to God's wrath being poured out (see Jn. 14:1-3; 1 Cor. 15:50-54; 1 Th. 4:13-18; Rev. 3:10; 4:1).

DO YOU WANT TO BE SAVED, BE BORN AGAIN?
BELIEVE GOD'S WORD THAT JESUS DIED FOR YOU,
THAT HE WAS BURIED AND ROSE FROM THE DEAD,
AND YOU WILL BECOME GOD'S ADOPTED CHILD
