WE SHALL BE CAUGHT UP ABOVE GOD'S JUDGMENT BELOW!

ENOCH, NOAH, LOT, AND ELIJAH!

Genesis 5:23-24; Hebrews 11:5 - And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:  And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. . . . By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him:  for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Genesis 7:13, 16-18 - In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark . . . . and the LORD shut him in.  And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.  And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.

Genesis 19:17, 30 - And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed. . . . And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.

2 Kings 2:1, 11 - And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. . . . And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

THE RAPTURE (CATCHING UP) OF THE CHURCH!

John 14:1-3Let not your heart be troubled:  you believe in God, believe also in Me.  In My Father's house are many mansions:  if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

1 Corinthians 15:50-54 - Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:  for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 - But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.  For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:  and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:  and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Revelation 4:1 - After this I (John) looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven:  and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show you things which must be hereafter.

Note:  Revelation is divided into three parts:  the past, the present, and the future (see Rev. 1:19).  Following John's vision of the present, the Church Age (Ch. 2-3), this verse uses the same phrase found in Rev. 1:19:  "things which shall be hereafter."  After Chapter Three, the Church is not mentioned in those chapters which describe the Tribulation, a.k.a. The Time of Jacob's Trouble, and Daniel's Seventieth Week; both revealing the focus of the Tribulation is upon Israel!

THE CHURCH IS NOT DREADING
THE HORRIBLE DAY OF THE LORD;
IT IS EAGERLY AWAITING THE RETURN
OF OUR BLESSED HOPE:  JESUS CHRIST!
