In Revelation, there are seven:
* Churches/Golden Candlesticks - 1:4, 11, 13, 20; 2:1.
* Angels/Stars - 1:16, 20; 2:1; 3:1; 15:1, 6, 7, 8; 16:1; 17:1; 21:9.
* Spirits of God/Seven Eyes - 1:4; 3:1; 4:5; 5:6.
* Seals - 5:1, 5.
* Horns (Jesus) - 5:6.
* Trumpets - 8:2, 6.
* Thunders - 10:3, 4.
* Slain - 11:13.
* Heads/Crowns/Mountains/Empires (Beast) - 12:3; 13:1; 17:3, 7, 9, 10, 11.
* Vials/Plagues - 15:1, 6, 7, 8; 16:1; 17:1; 21:9.
Revelation 1:19 divides John's vision into three time periods: that which he has seen (Ch. 1), that which he sees at the time of his vision (Ch. 2 - 3), and that which God will show him concerning the future (Ch. 4 - 22). Chapters 4 - 5 describe the throne and the book in heaven. Chapters 6 - 11 describe the first three and a half years of the seven-year Tribulation. Chapters 12 - 13 describe Satan's fall from heaven, his war with Israel, the rise of the Beast (Antichrist), and the rise of another Beast (False Prophet). Chapters 14 - 18 describe the second half of the seven-year period which is called the Great Tribulation. Chapter 19 describes the Second Coming of Christ. Chapter 20 describes the 1000 year reign of Christ known as the Millennium. Chapters 21 - 22 describe the new heaven, the new earth, and the beginning of Eternity.
The middle of the seven-year Tribulation (Ch. 12 -13) is when the Antichrist, empowered by Satan, declares himself to be god, and in so doing, commits the Abomination of Desolation. This is pictured in Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:15; and Revelation 13:1-18. These two chapters separate the first half of the Tribulation (6 - 11), from the second half (14 - 18), and they contain seven different personages:
* The Woman/Israel - 12:1.
* The Child/Jesus - 12:2.
* The Dragon/Satan - 12:3.
* The Archangel, Michael - 12:7.
* The Brethren/Remnant - 12:10, 11.
* The Beast/Antichrist - 13:1.
* The Second Beast/False Prophet - 13:11.
I hope this material will be of use to you as you study God's Revelation!
