The Bible begins and ends with information about Jesus Christ. The first verse, in the first book, says: "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." "God," is referring to Jesus! How do I know? By looking at what the rest of the Bible says about the act of creation! We read:
* "All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made" (Jn. 1:3). We know by the context of verse one, verse ten, and verse fourteen, that "Him" is referring to Jesus Christ!
* "And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ" (Eph. 3:9).
* "For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: and He is before all things, and by Him all things consist" (Col. 1:16-17). Again, the context of the chapter is about Jesus.
* "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds" (Heb. 1:1-2).
* "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created" (Rev. 4:11).
As I stated above, the Bible ends focused upon Jesus:
* "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus" (Rev. 22:16-17, 20).
I can hear the devil whispering in your ears, "What about everything in between?" Jesus answered that Himself:
* "And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded unto them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself" (Lk. 24:27)!
