THE BORN AGAIN BELIEVER'S BLESSED HOPE

I believe in the "Blessed Hope," the personal, imminent, pre-tribulation and pre-millennial coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for those who have called upon Him as Lord, commonly referred to as the Rapture!  When a person believes the Gospel, and responds by calling upon the name of the Lord Jesus, he or she becomes a born again child of God.

"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand...that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures" (1 Cor. 15:1-4).  "...The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the Word of faith, which we preach; that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Rom. 10:8-10).

Born again believers, those who have believe the Gospel, are not going to be here during the Tribulation, the time of God's wrath.  We will be removed by the Rapture of the true Church.

"Looking for that Blessed Hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ" (Ti. 2:13).  "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me.  In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also" (Jn. 14:1-3).  "(We) wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Th. 1:10; 5:9).

Jesus could return for His Church at any moment, and He will in the same way He left.

"And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight....Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven?  This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven" (Acts 1:9, 11).  "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality" (1 Cor. 15:51-53).  "For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" (1 Th. 4:16-17).

Only those who acknowledge Jesus as their Lord, have this blessed hope!
