THE AWESOME WORD OF GOD

Psalm 119:11, 89, 105 - "Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee....Forever, O LORD, Thy Word is settled in heaven....Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."

Psalm 138:2 - "I will worship toward Thy holy temple, and praise Thy Name for Thy loving kindness and for Thy truth:  for Thou hast magnified Thy Word above all Thy Name."

Luke 24:25-27 - "Then Jesus said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:  Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into His glory? And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded unto them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself."

John 1:1, 14 - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."

1 Thessalonians 2:13 - "For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the Word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the Word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe."

2 Timothy 3:15 - "And that from a child thou hast known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus."

Hebrews 4:12 - "For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

1 Peter 1:23 - "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth forever."

Revelation 19:13 - "And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called the Word of God."
