THE JUDGMENT OF GOD IS UPON UNBELIEVERS

The Bible indicates that as it was in the days of Noah and of Lot, that is how the world will be when the end of this age happens (Luke 17:26-29)!  All these passages have something in common; see if you can find it:

*  Genesis 7:17 - "And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth."
*  Genesis 19:30 - "And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain...."
*  John 14:1-3 - "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me.  In my Father's house are many mansions:  if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."
*  Acts 1:9-11 - "And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight.  And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; who also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven?  This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven."
*  1 Corinthians 15:51-52 - "Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:  for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."
*  1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 - "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.  For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not (precede) them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:  and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:  and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
*  Revelation 4:1-2 - "After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven:  and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter.  And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and One sat on the throne."

Did you find the common theme?  That's right!  Before God brings judgment upon the earth, He always allows His chosen ones to be lifted up, and then He brings judgment on those which are below!  The Ark.  The mountain.  The Rapture.  And even during the Tribulation, He lifts His chosen people:  John wrote in Revelation 12:14 - "And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent."

Believers have nothing to fear; God never changes!
